SERGEY IVANOVICH KOMARITSKIY - Director. Graduated from the Moscow State University Faculty of Law. Candidate of Legal Sciences (1980). Has extensive academic and practical experience. Former researcher at the All Union Scientific Institute of the Ministry of Interior of the USSR. Two years tenure as law professor at the Moscow State University Faculty of Law. One year as law professor at the International Law Faculty of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Has taught civil law at the Russian Postgraduate School for Private Law for the past three years.
Started practicing law in 1989. Specializes in privatization transactions, real estate law, contract law, commercial court procedure, judicial protection of the right of ownership and other in rem rights of immovables. Represents clients' interests in courts of all instances and arbitral tribunals on all matters of civil and commercial law.

NATALIA VLADIMIROVNA SOKOLOVA - Senior Legal Advisor. Graduated from the International Law Department of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations (1993). Has practiced with the law firm Philip Sinel in the offshore region of Jersey.
Specializes in operations with securities, investment projects and financial and currency legislation. Represents clients before commercial courts and arbitral tribunals. Experience in disputes to which foreign citizens or legal persons are a party. Working knowledge of French and English.
PETER JOHN SAHLAS - Associate Member. Graduated from the McGill University Faculty of Law, Montreal, Canada. Attorney and Counselor at Law of the Bar of New York. In addition to English and French, has working knowledge of Greek and Russian.
ALEXEI NIKOLAEVICH ZHILTSOV - Senior Legal Advisor. Graduated from the International Law Department of the Moscow State Institute of International Relations. Researcher at the Law Department of the European University Institute, Florence, Italy (1990-1994) and researcher at the Arbitration Department of the TMC Asser Institute for Public and Private International Law, The Hague, The Netherlands (1992-1993). Since 1994, head of the Comparative and Private International Law Department at the Research Center for Private Law of the Office of the President of the Russian Federation. Substantial teaching experience: lecturer on private international law at Moscow State Institute of International Relations (1994-1999) and lecturer at Russian Postgraduate School for Private Law (since 1995).
Member of working groups for drafting of Model Civil Code of the Commonwealth of Independent States; Division VII (Private International Law) of the new Russian Civil Code; and the Law of the Russian Federation On State Immunity.
Areas of specialization include private international law, international commercial arbitration, comparative civil law, the law of obligations and procedure in commercial courts.
